Dr. DiLella completed his medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and performed an internship and orthopedic surgery residency at St. James Olympia Fields Medical Center.

Dr. DiLella served as team physician for several high school and college sports teams during his sports medicine fellowship, including Pierce College, Antelope Valley College, and the California State University Northridge Campus.

“I’m thrilled to be named team physician for the Chicago Machine,” Dr. DiLella said. “Lacrosse is an exciting sport, and the Chicago Machine is a wonderful organization. I look forward to working with the coaches and players during what promises to be an exciting season.”

A member of Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the Chicago Machine is starting its third season in 2008 and plays its home games at Toyota Stadium, 15 minutes southwest of downtown Chicago in Bridgeview.
